The Boyfriend Cardigan

Image
One of my favorite staples of the winter season is the cardigan.  If you've spent some time flipping through magazines or wandering around the mall, you've probably noticed that one of the most popular cardigan styles of this season is the boyfriend cardigan with a crest.  The first time I fell in love with the boyfriend cardigan was when I saw Anne Hathaway wearing one in The Devil Wears Prada . Boyfriend cardigans are super casual and comfortable, but there's just something about them that makes you feel great!  What I love most about the boyfriend cardigan is that it's both functional (great pockets and warm material) and trendy.  On the left is one that I wore last week. I added a lacey tank to give my outfit a more feminine feel.  Below, I've posted the links to several affordable and cute cardigans that I found online.    Where can you get this look? - Cardigan: dELiA's .  It comes in multiple colors, too, and is on sale right now! - Tan...

Fall into Winter

Image
In an attempt to avoid falling into the winter blues, I always try to brighten up my winter wardrobe.  One way I like to do this is by wearing a mix of pastels and fall colors or patterns, while adding thick tights or a sweater to stay warm.  Have fun with colors, patterns, or accessories to stand out against the gray and dreary winter weather!  Below are two outfits from last week. Where can you get this look? - Sweater Dress:  Forever 21.  See similar here . - Necklace:  Forever 21.  See similar here or here . - Tights:  HUE from Macy's - Boots:  Bijou.  See similar here . - Gray Sweater:  Forever 21.  See similar here . - Floral Skirt:  Forever 21.  See similar here . - Tights:  HUE from Macy's - Boots: See similar here .  Leave a comment:   What's your favorite way to bring some color into your winter wardrobe?

A Holiday Montage

After getting caught up in the midst of finals, holiday traveling, and the start of the winter semester, I've found it hard to find the time to post.  Now that I've got a handle on my schedule, I'm planning on getting back into the swing of things with at least one post per week!  As promised, below are a few pictures from Halloween, as well as Christmas and New Years.  Enjoy :-) To view this photo slideshow you need to have Flash Player 9 or newer installed and JavaScript enabled.
