Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Well, my laptop is still suffering from a virus, but I was able to get my camera software uploaded onto my desktop, so I'm back with a short post!

Last weekend I went to a pumpkin patch and corn maze with a few of my friends.  Even though I knew I'd be spending most of the day trekking through dirt and corn stalks, I still wanted to wear an outfit that I felt good in and wasn't too afraid to get a little dirty.

I chose to wear a pair of my jean leggings (sooo comfy!) with a knit, plaid shirt.  I added a thin belt around my waist as an accessory, as well as a beaded bracelet that was gold, silver, and brown, just like the shirt.  I elected to wear my Blowfish gray boots since they're flats and are super easy to clean.  These boots have been a fall back of mine for the last few years whenever I've needed shoes that were easy to walk in and that could withstand a little wear and tear.  I love them because they're comfortable but still cute.  They have a nice, thick sole too with plenty of support.

The pumpkin patch was a lot of fun.  My friends and I managed to get lost in the maze for about two hours (the boys refused to get a map), and we were all able to pick out our own pumpkins from a big patch.  Pumpkin carving pictures will be coming, as well as a Halloween costume post!  Check back soon :-)
